How payouts actually work

From tip to balance

Viewers buy tokens at roughly eight to eleven US cents each depending on package size. As a performer you receive about five cents per token. The platform keeps the difference.

That means a 500-token goal, which reads as a large number in chat, lands as roughly twenty-five dollars for you. Set your goals with that in mind.

Your balance accrues in tokens and is converted at payout. The rate used is in your account terms.

When the money arrives

Payouts run on a fixed schedule rather than instantly, and there is a minimum threshold. Fall below it and the balance rolls into the next period.

Expect several weeks between earning and receiving, depending on the method you pick. That is normal for the industry and not a sign that something has gone wrong.

Choose your payout method deliberately. The options differ considerably in fees and speed, and a low-fee method with a long lead time can still be the better deal on small amounts.

Where it goes wrong

Name mismatch. The account must be in your own name and match your verified identity. A partner's or parent's account results in blocked payouts.

Incomplete verification. Until identity checks are fully finished nothing can be paid out, even though you can watch the balance grow.

Currency and fees. You earn in dollars and are likely paid in your local currency. Between conversion, transaction fees and your own bank's charges, a slice disappears. Factor that in when setting goals.

Tax. Nothing is withheld, so the full liability lands on your own return. In most jurisdictions this income is taxable and treated as self-employment. Look into your local rules before your first payout rather than after.
